COURSE MAINTENANCE PERSONAL
We have a fantastic job opportunity available for anyone who enjoys physical activity, is not afraid of hard work, pays attention to detail, loves nature, and enjoys golfing (free golf is a perk!). Immediate position available.
As part of our golf course maintenance crew, you will be responsible for maintaining the golf course and the maintenance facility to ensure that the golf course conditions are excellent daily. You will get to operate various types of equipment, including weed-eaters, backpack and push blowers, self-propelled walk mowers, edgers, rakes, and shovels to maintain all areas of the golf course. You will also be operating utility carts and debris blowers, maintaining bunkers, walk mow greens, top-dress greens, filling divots, and performing a daily cleanup of equipment and facility. Additionally, you may be assigned other duties by your supervisor.
It would be a bonus if you have general knowledge of the golf game and the course and have prior experience in golf course maintenance. The job is from Monday to Friday, with an occasional rotating weekend. We are looking for hardworking individuals with a good work ethic who are punctual and have transportation. Since the job requires you to be physically and mentally fit, it is essential to perform your duties.
Although the job requires early mornings, it also means you finish earlier in the day. The work is 90-100% outside, and you will be required to work in all four seasons that Alberta likes to show us in a day. You will usually work independently, so you must be self-motivated and work well under deadlines.
